CEU Instructions
IMPORTANT CEU INSTRUCTIONS
Registered attendees seeking Continuing Education (CE) credit for participating in the CAA 26th Annual Conference must fulfill the following satisfactory completion requirements to be eligible to receive CE credit. Please read all instructions, requirements, and deadlines carefully to ensure that you meet all requirements to receive CE credit. All requirements must be completed by October 11, 2025.
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Registered conference participants seeking to obtain CEU credits from ASHA will need to complete the following in order to receive credit. Participants will receive CEU credits for all sessions that they attend and complete all requirements.
- Participants will need to sign in and out every day of the conference they attend. Sign-in forms will be located near the Registration Desk.
- By the close of conference, participants must complete the ASHA Participant Form. Please fill out the form with information in agreement with your ASHA profile
- For each session, participants will need to record the 5-digit code for each presentation on both copies of the Continuing Education Worksheet. The codes will be provided on-screen following each presentation or located on each poster presentation. One copy is for your records, the other is to be turned in at the end of the conference.
- Participants will enter the 5-digit code for each presentation for which they are seeking ASHA CE credit on the Online Session Evaluation Form.
- For each session, participants will need to answer the learning assessment questions and complete the Session Evaluation Form.
- At the close of the conference, participants must turn in a completed Continuing Education worksheet. Make sure to retain the second copy of the Continuing Education Worksheet for your records.

10/18 | Final report submitted to ASHA |
After 10/11 | ALL participant appeals will be directed to ASHA. The CAA 26th Annual Conference and its accreditors will not take any appeal or change requests after 10/11/2025. |
American Academy of Audiology
Registered conference participants seeking to obtain CEU credits from AAA will need to complete the following in order to receive credit. Participants will receive hours for all sessions that they complete all requirements and attend for its full duration.
- Participants should sign in every day of the conference they attend. Sign-in forms will be located near the Registration Desk.
- For each session, participants will need to record the 5-digit code for each presentation on both copies of the Continuing Education Worksheet. The codes will be provided on-screen following each presentation or located on each poster presentation. One copy is for your records, the other is to be turned in at the end of the conference.
- Participants will enter the 5-digit code for each presentation for which they are seeking AAA CE credit on the online Session Evaluation Form.
- For each session, participants will need to answer the learning assessment questions and complete the Session Evaluation Form.
- Participants will need to complete the AAA participant form which includes providing your AAA Member ID and personal information. The form will need to be turned in before the end of the conference.
- At the close of the conference, participants must turn in a completed Continuing Education worksheet. Make sure to retain the second copy of the Continuing Education Worksheet for your records.

Tier One
Registered conference participants seeking to obtain Tier 1 CEU credits from AAA will need to complete the following in order to receive credit. Participants will receive CEU credits for all sessions that they attend and complete all requirements
- Participants must indicate on the Continuing Education Worksheet that they are ABA certified and are seeking Tier 1 credits by providing their Academy Member ID, name, address, email address, and number of Tier 1 CEUs earned.
- Participants must take part in the live polling assessments during the interactive sessions.
Continuing Professional Development Hours
CEUs obtained at the CAA 26th Annual Conference can be used for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Hours required by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB).
- Sessions are eligible for Audiologist and Dispensing Audiologist CEUs with the California SLPAHADB.
- Courses qualifying as hearing aid hours for those with a dispensing audiologist license are indicated on the Continuing Education Worksheet. CAA Annual Conference sessions are NOT approved for CA Hearing Aid Dispensers Hours.
- Participants should fill out and retain the participant version of the Continuing Education Worksheet with the appropriate session codes for their records.
- Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance following the Annual Conference. Participants may fill out the certificate with their earned hours for their records.
- CAA does not report any Continuing Education (CE) hours to the state on behalf of Annual Conference participants. Please maintain a copy of your completed Continuing Education Worksheet in your records for at least two years.
