A letter from CAA President, Melanie Rosenblatt
My fellow CAA members,As my tenure as President and the year of 2024 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support this year. I am filled with such gratitude for all our members and volunteers. Most especially, I wish to express my appreciation for our Board of Directors. It has been an honor to serve with and for you. I am proud of our accomplishments this year including a successful Annual Conference in Irvine, fun Happy Hour events, and the completion of the necessary updates to our bylaws.
Next year holds wonderous potential with an incredible Board of Directors and the leadership of our incoming President, Melissa Garafalo-Culmer, Au.D.
We anticipate the CAA 26th Annual Conference: Action & Impact will be our largest conference yet. I hope to see you all in September at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in Burlingame. In addition, plans are in motion for our third year of CAA Happy Hour events and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) continuing education online seminar early next year.
My hope, my wish, my ask to all going forward into the new year, is to embrace the challenges necessary to make positive changes in our field. If we take action as a united profession, we can make the impact we want to see happen.
Wishing you a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Melanie Rosenblatt, Au.D., F-AAA, ABAC
